Helping clients understand their role in decarbonization and offering an actionable roadmap to achieve it
Context:
In order to do their part in decarbonizing Europe and be compliant with the climate targets set by the Paris Agreement, our client needed to understand and lower their carbon footprint. We were tasked with helping the client understand and track scope 1-3 emissions, setting emission reduction targets and formulating an actionable roadmap to reach them, and setting up ESG reporting processes compliant with EU regulations.
How we helped our client:
Through our deep understanding of relevant regulations and frameworks, we supported our client in identifying their scope 1-3 emissions. Once the client was made aware of its exact carbon footprint, we helped them set emission reduction targets compliant with the Paris Agreement and EU regulations, as well as developed and actionable roadmap for reaching the states goals. We set up the processes and enablers for ESG reporting, ensuring our client is compliant with all the relevant regulations.
Result:
The client understands and is able to track and report on its own emissions, and is well on the way of achieving the emission reduction targets needed to be ESG compliant.
